This class is ideal for the experienced crocheter who has never made an amigurumi. Amigurumi is a Japanese term loosely translated to mean "small crochet or knit doll". To be successful in this class you need to be completely comfortable with the single crochet stitch, crocheting in the round, and increasing/decreasing. We will complete an adorable amigurumi project while learning the 'magic loop' method, how to use safety eyes, and amigurumi finishing techniques. A kit will be provided to each student with materials to make the project (pattern & instructions, appropriate yarn, safety eyes and polyester fiberfill will be provided in the kit).
Please bring these tools: size G crochet hook, scissors, and blunt tapestry or darning needle.
As a thank you to C&P Coffee for hosting our crochet class, please bring a couple bucks and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine while hanging out!
All ages welcome.
