Thinking about gardening, but stuck indoors this winter? Get organized for next spring by making your own gardening apron! In this class, we will make a multi-pocket gardening apron complete with contrast binding and tool loops. Great for stashing seed packets, your soil thermometer and anything else you don't feel like carrying around.

This is a beginning class for people with some sewing experience. Skills required are winding bobbins, threading your machine and sewing a straight stitch.

Skills you will get to practice include fabric marking and cutting, how and when to use a basting stitch, sewing a curved seam, topstitching, sewing pockets and hems, making pleats, sewing with bias binding and more!

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a brief list of supplies that you need for class, including 1 yard of fabric.

Seattle Farm School has two sewing machines available for free rental if you don't have your own. Please select that option at check-out - available while supplies last!
